Work

This work explores the breakdown of supposed reliable forms of perceptual processing: devices made to mimic the human eye. Here the camera is not used as an indexical tool, instead of processing the image clearly it creates a distortion that produces something altogether different. The image is abstracted from its source, just a trace of the original form is left. This trace, while still refering to the original object, also references the creation of its own new body. Because these pieces look similar, the individual "body" created becomes one of a large number of multiples.

Ends of Things are installed together in various groups and configurations, depending on the installation space.
